About This Event

Annabel Meikle, Master of the Quaich, hosts Epicurean Adventures at the Edinburgh Food & Drink Academy. The session introduces three blended malt whiskies paired with three artisan Scottish cheeses.

Join Annabel Meikle, Master of the Quaich, on an epicurean adventure introducing three blended malt whiskies with three artisan Scottish cheeses from I. J. Mellis, and three chocolates from Edinburgh based Quirky Chocolate. Annabel will lead you through a sensory appreciation of three drams created by Master Blender, Isabella Wemyss of Wemyss Malts. Annabel has 25 years of experience and passion pairing food and Scotch whisky and her mission is to share this with you as an introduction to Scotland. According to Annabel’s own words, “My mission is to ignite and engage the sensory toolkit you carry around every minute of the day. Our sense of sight, smell, taste and touch are what guide us through each experience.”
