Fibre Weaving Workshop with Marcela Tršová Class Details Fibre Weaving Workshop Weave, shape and build with natural and found materials! Join us for a hands-on and inspiring day exploring the creative possibilities of fibre and natural materials. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to weave, wrap, and construct using a variety of fibres to create your own unique 3D vessel. Working with materials such as jute, cotton string, wool, and natural elements like ivy and grasses, you’ll be encouraged to experiment, play, and discover how these simple materials can be transformed into sculptural forms. This is a relaxed and supportive workshop suitable for beginners and those with some experience, with plenty of individual guidance from the tutor throughout the day. What to expect We begin the day by exploring inspiring artists working with fibre and natural materials, looking at a range of approaches to weaving and sculptural construction.
