About This Event

Tom Corradini is set to bring his unique blend of physical comedy and Shaolin philosophy to Edinburgh with his show "Shaolin Clown." This event at Fruitmarket promises a warm-hearted journey where an exuberant monk reclaims his inner clown, making it a must-see for those looking for something both fun and thought-provoking.

The show is a non-verbal physical comedy performance that explores the journey of a Shaolin monk as he rediscovers his inner clown. Through his Zen practice, the monk finds meaning in the seemingly insignificant and discovers a world full of surprises.

The show is freely inspired by the book Shaolin: You Don't Have to Fight to Win by Bernhard Moestl. It has previously been performed at various festivals, including Avignon Off 2025, IAPAR (India) 2024, and Prague Fringe 2024.

The performance takes place at Fruitmarket in Edinburgh, with daily showtimes at 11am from 6th to 21st August 2026. Tickets are available for £7-10. The show is suitable for all ages, nationalities, and members of the audience with hearing impairment.
