Join Ashlab in Corstorphine for a hands-on clay workshop where you’ll shape a pumpkin candle holder, carve out its face and add all the little details that make it yours. Will yours be grinning, grumpy or properly spooky?

This is a relaxed way to spend a Saturday afternoon making something for Halloween. You don’t need any clay experience — we’ll guide you through each step, from shaping the air-dry clay to creating your pumpkin’s expression.

You’ll make: One pumpkin-shaped clay candle holder.

Everything you need to make your piece is provided. The photos show a candle inside the finished holder. Candle is not included. Clay needs time to dry, but we got the ways can dry that quickly, and you can paint on the same hours.
