Join us as we mark an incredible milestone - 60 years of Heriot-Watt Scientific Diving. This free to attend special celebration will bring together current and former divers, colleagues, students and friends to reflect on six decades of underwater exploration, research and discovery from our Orkney Campus. Enjoy an evening of stories, memories and highlights from the University's rich diving heritage, while reconnecting with fellow members of the scientific diving community. Whether you've been involved in the programme, supported its work, or simply share a passion for the marine environment, we'd love you to join us. Come and celebrate the people, achievements and adventures that have helped shape 60 years of underwater exploration at Heriot-Watt University. We look forward to celebrating with you. 6pm - Arrivals and welcome drinks/canapés. 7pm - Presentation will begin with guest speaker Professor Hamish Mair discussing how scientific diving has evolved over the years and also the impact that has been generated on student training, employment, research and scientific discovery. 8pm - Networking time with refreshments provided
