Whether you’ve never spoken a word of Gaeilge, or you’re fluent and just want a top-up, come along to Malones Leith for a relaxed, welcoming Irish language class. Following the success of their first Irish language class on Heritage Day, Malones Leith are back with more relaxed, welcoming sessions, hosted by Edinburgh Comhaltas. Each session will focus on different topics and phrases, while still being perfectly beginner-friendly. You can therefore come to every session and still pick up the language, or join classes sporadically as you’re able to. Each session is around 45 minutes. Tickets must be booked in advance, on a pay what you can basis. Edinburgh Comhaltas is an inclusive community working to promote Irish traditional music, song and dance as well as the Irish language in Edinburgh. They are open to all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Open to over 18s, Irish Language Classes take place on 31 May, 26 July and 23 August 2026.
