Tales of Scotland’s mythical monarchs: Join us in the Great Gallery to hear the stories of some of the myths and legends associated with monarchs that can be seen in the portraits handing on the walls. Sketch a mythical monarch: Discover the stories behind some of the mythical monarchs found in the portraits hanging in the Great Gallery. Sketch a portrait or draw your own version of a monarch. Unicorn Crowns: Take inspiration from Scotland’s national animal and make a special crown to take home. Unicorn Activity Trail: Discover more about this mythological beast as you explore the Palace with your own paper unicorn trail full of activities.
