Giveaways, festival insider tips and live music every Saturday in August Festival visitors are being invited to take a well-earned pit stop from the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh Fringe season at OMNi’s pop up Reset & Refuel Station, running every Saturday throughout August. Taking place from 1pm–5pm on 8, 15, 22 and 29 August, the free pop-up experience at the OMNi Connect Kiosk will offer Fringe-goers the chance to recharge, regroup and refuel before heading back out into the city. Inspired by the idea of a sporting pit stop, visitors can pick up free bottled water, Fringe programmes and maps, local tips and giveaways to help them reset before their next show. Throughout the afternoon, guests can also enjoy live music between 2pm and 4pm. Located at Picardy Place, OMNi is positioning itself as a calm but connected Fringe pit stop – close to the action yet just removed enough from the busiest festival crowds to offer a more relaxed experience. Neil Mackie, OMNi Centre Manager, said: "The Fringe is an incredible experience, but it can be a marathon rather than a sprint. Our Reset & Refuel Station is designed to give people a chance to pause, recharge and get ready for whatever comes next. Whether you're meeting friends, planning your next show or grabbing a free bottle of water, OMNi is the perfect place to start or end a day at the festival." With Picardy Place tram stop right outside, convenient parking at Q-Park, and a range of restaurants and food outlets offering great-value meal options, OMNi provides an easy and affordable alternative to city-centre queues during the busy festival period. Visitors are encouraged to drop in, reset, refuel and head back out refreshed for another day of Fringe fun.
