Smitty is coming to the UK! For the first time. Learn beginner groundwork, build confidence, strength & control in this incredible workshop

Smitty Beginner's Groundwork Workshop

Take your skating to a whole new level with David “Smitty” Smith, an internationally experienced jam skater and instructor from Cincinnati, Ohio.

Smitty began competitively jam skating in 2003 and has spent more than two decades sharing his passion, experience and knowledge with skaters around the world.

For this special UK workshop, Smitty will be focusing on Beginner Groundwork, helping you build the confidence, strength and control needed to feel comfortable taking your skating from standing to the floor.

This session is designed to make groundwork feel accessible, achievable and fun.

You don’t need previous groundwork experience. Smitty will break the movements down step-by-step, giving you the tools and foundations to progress at your own pace.

Whether you’ve always wanted to try groundwork or you’ve attempted it before but lacked confidence, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn directly from one of jam skating’s experienced pioneers.

Come ready to learn, challenge yourself and discover a completely different side of your skating.
