I built this because I know how isolating Edinburgh can feel sometimes.

Even living in such a vibrant city, it is remarkably easy to feel completely alone. Between the endless swiping on dating apps and the digital noise of modern life, I realized how much I—and so many others—were craving genuine, face-to-face human connection.

I wanted to create something different. No screens, no awkward pressure, and no overwhelming crowds—just a warm, welcoming space where real people can sit down, share a meal or drink, and actually talk.

Whether you’ve recently moved to Edinburgh, feel stuck in a social rut, or are simply tired of the dating app burnout, you belong at this table. My goal for this evening is simple: to help us step away from isolation, break the ice naturally, and make our city feel a little bit smaller and a lot more connected.
