About This Event

The tap dance company Stories makes its Scottish premiere at the Kings Theatre Edinburgh on 9 November 2026. The production is created by RB Dance Company, which previously reached the finals of France's Got Talent in 2018 and 2024. The show follows the character Icarus and his struggle with his film director, having previously toured Europe with audiences exceeding 300,000 people.

A spectacular show that brings tap dance to new heights. Stories’ creators – RB Dance Company – were launched onto the world stage when the company reached the finals of France’s Got Talent both in 2018 and 2024. Icarus – a young actor – is already a big hit on screen. Yet, behind the scenes, he’s under the oppressive influence of his director. After an epic argument, Icarus finds himself unable to escape the film director’s stranglehold. After touring in Europe with audiences of over 300,000 people and sell out performances at Sadlers Wells, the critically-acclaimed Stories makes its Scottish premiere at the King’s Theatre.
