A seasonal celebration of the weird and wonderful world of fungi

We are pleased to announce that the Northern Fungi Festival is returning for its second year, this time hosted by Ruberslaw Wild Camping in Denholm.

Taking place on the weekend of National Fungus Day, the festival is set to be a seasonal celebration of the weird and wonderful world of fungi. Guided walks, talks and demonstrations taking place throughout the day, led by expert mycologists and foragers, covering topics from conservation and identification to cooking with wild fungi, and understanding some of their many other uses!

Whether your a forager, mycologist, grower or general enthusiast, there is something for everyone and all levels of interest, and all ages are welcome to come along and enjoy the day.

We are promoting the fesitval as a cash only event due to the remote location of the event as card payments may not always be available.
