About the event We would like to welcome you to a relaxing yin yoga concert, where you will have the opportunity to slow down and receive the sounds of original live music while holding postures that offer some active effort with the balance of surrender to facilitate deep rest and a chance for your body to release tension. The first half of the class will be held in silence, tuning into your breath and returning to your inner voice and true essence. The second half of the class will offer a performance of original, dreamy, atmospheric music from Djinn Peeters ( https://djinnpeeters.bandcamp.com/ ) with acoustic guitar and soothing vocals, accompanied by the harmonium, spoken word poetry and vocal harmonies with Hazel. The music aims to guide you into open awareness, where your consciousness can expand and you can melt into the eternal present moment. No experience is necessary; come as you are. All props and equipment will be provided in a beautiful, healing space at the Salisbury Centre Studio. “Hazel and Djinn’s yin yoga class with music was such a beautiful and memorable experience. I aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment, so that no matter your body type, age or level of experience, everyone can benefit from the gifts of yoga. I have a holistic approach including the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies in my classes, encouraging you to strengthen the body, calm the mind and uplift the spirit, and offering a safe space for you to accept whatever is arising.
