We do bring a book we're ready to pass on, enjoy good book chat & pick up a new book to take home.

Here’s how it works

Choose a book you've read, enjoyed and are ready to pass on;

Wrap it up (keep it simple or go fancy, it's up to you) and bring it along.

On the night we'll each introduce our book to the group and why we liked it.... just remember not to share the author or title!

At the end we'll get a chance to each pick a book before we all unwrap them together and discover our new book!

And there’s more…We'll also be joined by a local guest author, we'll enjoy a bookish themed parlour game and listen to our latest banned book reading.

We are delighted to be hosted at St Columba's Bookshop and Cafe. A portion of our ticket sales will go to them each time we meet.
