The Tale of Eliza Scrooge One woman. Three spirits. A reckoning in the winter dark. Set in contemporary Edinburgh on Christmas Eve, the story follows Eliza Scrooge, a ruthless retail CEO whose relentless pursuit of profit has left her feared by her employees and isolated from those around her. But when the ghost of her late business partner, Jessica Marley, appears with a chilling warning, Eliza is forced to confront the life she has chosen. Guided by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come, Eliza embarks on an extraordinary journey through memory, consequence and the possibility of redemption. Blending the magic, mystery and heart of Dickens' beloved classic with the social and economic realities of Edinburgh in 2026, this fresh reimagining explores greed, compassion and the importance of human connection. A haunting, heartfelt and distinctly Scottish Christmas tale, The Tale of Eliza Scrooge brings a familiar story to life for a new generation. WIth a cast and crew of over 80 people, start your Christmas season with a reimagined classic. Written & Directed by Lewis C. Baird Presented by Forth Children's Theatre × Leitheatre
