It has come to our attention that there are some things about this town that we didn’t fully understand.

Join us for a tour through the stories of Kirkcaldy, the lives, loves and dreams of the town’s women. Discover hidden histories, meet unexpected heroines and wonder about what might come next for the Lang Toun.

Quines Community Company present their first original production, created and performed by the company. Directed by Caitlin Skinner and Rowan Heggie.

What You May Have Missed is inspired by the Nova Project, a yearlong arts programme from Stellar Quines which aims to shine a light on the women, non-binary and trans people of Kirkcaldy. The company conducted interviews with local people and asked them to nominate a local woman they thought should be celebrated. The stories we heard, along with our own experiences of the town, formed the basis for this production.

Performance takes place in the Olympia Arcade, one of Scotland’s oldest shopping arcades.

Please note, audiences will need to stand for about 10minutes and walk a short way as part of the performance. Chairs available for those that need.
