Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku)

Immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the forest, learning to move slowly and be fully present. Through gentle guidance, you’ll reconnect with the earth, your senses, and your inner essence, allowing the stillness of winter to ground and restore you.

Community Fire Circle

Gather around the comforting glow of the fire as we share stories, reflections, and the magic of sisterhood. This is a sacred space to be seen and heard, to release what no longer serves, and to set heartfelt intentions together.

Guided Journaling & Reflection

Using soulful prompts inspired by the Winter Solstice, you’ll explore your inner landscape—honouring what you are ready to release and the seeds you wish to plant for the new cycle. Journaling will be gently woven throughout the experience, offering moments of quiet insight and self-connection.

Winter Tea Ritual

Slow down and warm your body from within with a nourishing winter tea ritual. Using seasonal herbs and botanicals, we’ll mindfully prepare and sip tea together, creating space for intention, gratitude, and deep presence as we honour the stillness of the season.

Women’s Circle

Connect with like-minded women in a supportive, nurturing circle. Together we’ll create a container of trust and compassion, allowing space for reflection, renewal, and the welcoming of new possibilities.

No prior experience is needed, just an open heart and a willingness to connect.

Important Details:

The meeting point for the event is at the car park at Duddingston Kirk on Duddingston Road West, directly across from Holy Rood High School. The entrance to the car park is just before the turnoff to Old Church Lane. After parking, we’ll take a brief walk of a few minutes to reach the nature reserve.

What to Wear: Please dress in layers, with walking boots and waterproofs to stay comfortable in the outdoor setting.

What to Bring: Consider bringing a thermos of tea, a cup, a pen, a journal, and any snacks you'd like to enjoy.

We will run the session in all weathers except high winds or extreme cold. If the session is cancelled you will be contacted with as much notice as possible.

This event is purposefully kept intimate, with 12 spaces available, to ensure that we can fully honour each attendee and create a safe, sacred space for deep connection.
