Contribute to a fictional street shaped by 3 workshops throughout the exhibition - sign up to become a founder, innovator or steward

In this activity, you will co-create a vision of a future street in the year 2045, through three rounds of imagining and building

1 ⟶ Founders

2 ⟶ Innovators

3 ⟶ Stewards

Imagine how you might share space, how those spaces evolve, and how they are cared for over time.

This is workshop 2 of 3 which will build on the founders vision for the street using collage, drawing, or writing. Build on the previous spaces as you find them. Add new spaces, more layers, or playful twists to how the spaces function.

You will leave notes for the next people that move into the street...

Model materials will be provided including glue, scossors, paper, pens, and more. Please note that young people under the age of 16 should be accompanied by their legal guardian.

The street will be on display daily as part of the interactive exhibition and be added to on Wednesday and Thursday.

This event is part of a wider upcoming event/exhibition series we are hosting in A&DS:SpACE at the Edinburgh Futures Institute, and we would love for you to be a part of it. We are hosting these events with support from Architecture and Design Scotland (A&DS), who runs the venue in collaboration with Space for Architecture, Carbon & Environment (SpACE) and are giving us access for free.
