Professional single day course for anyone working with cheese. Also features an in-person Q&A and farm tour with Mary Quicke.

Cheese Knowledge Tour is a free, producer-backed training day for people working in retail, farm shops, delis, food halls, hospitality, wholesale and food service.

The day is designed to help customer-facing teams build confidence, improve product knowledge and talk about cheese in a way that supports better customer conversations and stronger sales.

Led by Tanny Gill, founder of Cheese Knowledge Tour and Scottish Cheese Academy, the training combines guided tasting, producer stories, cheese styles, provenance, cutting, serving, seasonality and practical sales-focused scenarios.

This is not a dry academic course. It is a practical, engaging day created for real working environments and everyday conversations with customers.

You don’t need to be a cheese expert to attend. The day is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced staff who want to build confidence and deepen their knowledge.
