Exmouth Film Festival presents Grow Your Network.

An event for the Devon film , TV and media sector In partnership with Devon Film Office , Exeter Phoenix and ACED. Friday 20th November 2026 Imperial Hotel ExmouthArrive from 3.30pm for a 4pm start.

We’re hosting an event for people living in Devon who are in the film , TV and media sector to help grow your networks as part of Exmouth Film Festival, on Friday 20 Sept 4pm - 6pm - arrival from 3.30pm

What to expect: • A short key note with Hugh Hartford of Banyak Films , a very experienced filmmaker with multiple credits and awards, whose latest film that he produced , We -The Hated, opened the prestigiuos Sheffiled documentary festival this year and hits cinemas very soon.

We will then also have a wider panel discussion with Devon based Film/TV/Content experts sharing their best projects, biggest lessons and advice • Followed by Small-group table conversations to extend your network • Open Q&A with the panel and with each other • News on upcoming opportunities in Devon. So, whether you’re a director, producer, crew member, editor, writer, very experienced or just starting out, you’re welcome. Tables will be mixed so you’ll meet people outside your usual circle.

There will be plenty of time to chat and connect.

Please join us after for our Friday evening screenings as part of Exmouth Film Festival at Exmouth Rugby club - a 5 minute walk from the Imperial Hotel. Catch the feature documentary Jo in the Water coming off its UK cinema tour PLUS the short film Salmon Run with filmmakers and activists QA. There will be time to grab some food before the event starts.
