Set in the peaceful coastal village of Maidencombe, between Teignmouth and the outskirts of Torquay, Orestone Manor is an independent, family-run country house renowned for its outstanding food. Awarded two AA Rosettes, the restaurant showcases the very best seasonal Devon produce, with an emphasis on fresh local ingredients, including Brixham fish and locally sourced meats.

We'll be dining in the light-filled conservatory, just beyond the elegant drawing room, where large windows overlook the beautifully kept gardens and stretch out towards the sea beyond. It's a wonderfully relaxed setting that perfectly complements the exceptional food, making for an unhurried autumn lunch in one of South Devon's most highly regarded country house restaurants.

A fixed-price menu will be available, with two courses for £36 or three courses for £44, excluding drinks. The minimum order is two courses, consisting of either a starter and main course or a main course and dessert. Considering the quality of the food, the beautiful surroundings and the standard of service, this represents exceptional value.

As Orestone Manor is a small independent restaurant working with a fixed menu, they are unable to cater for special dietary requirements or make significant alterations to dishes. Please bear this in mind before booking.

Our guests are over 30 years of age, some are business owners, some are retired, others are working professionals. Ages vary, backgrounds differ, but everyone has a story worth sharing. We're not a singles only group but welcome everyone regardless of situationship, We welcome partners, friends, and solos.

Most who join us are open, curious, and friendly - often well educated, sometimes well travelled, single or partnered. They come not just for the meal, but for the laughter, the conversations, and the chance to meet someone new.

You might leave with a new friend, a future travel companion, or simply the warmth of having shared time with good company.

The seat price does not include any food and drink you order. Booked seats are non-refundable but can be passed on to another person for the same event.

Dinners With Friends Refund Policy

Refunds will only be issued:

If the event is cancelled (or not fully performed) or postponed to more than 90 days after the original date.

If the event description presented to the consumer at the time of purchase is significantly different from the actual event.

If access cannot be granted to the Consumer due to capacity, safety issues, or venue issues. In circumstances where the consumer has special access or dietary needs (e.g. ramp, lift, hoist etc.), it is up to the consumer to check suitability with the venue.

Tickets may be passed on to another guests who will attend instead of you.
