About This Event

The Making Fabric Flowers event will take place on 7 August 2026 at CoLab Exeter in Exeter. The event is a creative session making fabric flowers. It is free to attend.

Come and join our creative session making fabric flowers

The craft of making fabric flowers was popular in the Victorian and Edwardian era. Using various materials both shiny and matte we will cut out and make fabric roses , peonies etc and their leaves.

These will be made into brooches or used to decorate hats and hair bands. A wonderful way to create your own unique accessories.

The flowers will all be hand sewn.
