An exhibition of original maps from the collections of the Devon Heritage Centre, ranging from the 16th to the 20th century.

Following the success of our 2025 exhibition, this is another opportunity to explore how Devon’s landscapes, towns, villages, roads and pathways have evolved over the past 500 years.

Discover a new collection of historic maps and plans from the archive collections of the Devon Heritage Centre and the West Country Studies Library. The maps on display are different from those featured in last year’s exhibition, offering visitors a new opportunity to discover Devon’s changing landscape through the centuries.

Your ticket includes free entry to view the map collection. You can visit the display at any time between 10.00 am and 12.30 pm.

The exhibition will close at 12.30 pm.
