Network at the Club is a curated monthly business meetup brought to you in partnership with David Lloyd Exeter , a facilitated session designed to create real connections between Exeter's business community. The intention behind the event is to create opportunities for attendees to expand their business network and community in a relaxed environment.

Why has Claire partnered with David Lloyd Exeter?

Claire has been a member for at least 10 years+ has witnessed first hand the value that arises from belonging to a community in Exeter. As a community builder for the last 13 years she noticed that while David Lloyd has thousands of members, these members weren't necessarily being given opportunities to connect and have meaningful conversations yet many people join and maintain a membership at David Lloyd purely because of all the business opportunities that arise.

Presented in partnership with David Lloyd Exeter as part of their commitment to elevating the Exeter community and creating more opportunities for meaningful and valuable connections and conversations.

Claire and David Lloyd General Manager, Greg Fanning, created this event to connect the DL community with the wider Exeter business network. The intention is to create an inclusive event for both members and non-members.David Lloyd Exeter has a number of local partnerships and is keen to nurture these as well as attract more.

This is the first event in an ongoing series. Each month, the vision is to carefully curate a group of Exeter's business owners, founders and professionals at a venue with incredible facilities. Our intention is that rather than it just being a business event the event can extend into a health and wellness opportunity, creating an opportunity to experience the perfect work/life balance.

Hosted by DL member, Claire Perry-Louise (https://www.claireperrylouise.co.uk/)facilitator and community builder with 13 years of experience creating spaces where genuine connections and opportunities happen. Claire runs her own online community,Like Hearted Leaders (https://www.claireperrylouise.co.uk/like-hearted-leaders)and has worked with a number of businesses on their community strategies. She advised Facebook, when they changed their vision statement towards building community as well as a host of other businesses and entrepreneurs including Daniel Priestley, co-founder of Dent Global and recently a regular guest on the Steven Bartlett podcast, Diary of a CEO.
