About This Event

Every Friday during term time, the Park Life Baby & Toddler Group runs at the new Park Hub hall space in Heavitree Pleasure Ground. This is a play session for preschoolers where children can freely explore the toys, enjoy snack time, a story and singing. We want to welcome all Mums, Dads, Grandparents, Carers, new parents and people who have just moved to the area. Families are welcome to give a voluntary donation on the door each week. These donations go towards helping us run these sessions. Currently we have the capacity set at 23 adults (plus the children). Therefore we ask you to book one ticket per family each week so we don't have to turn anyone away at the door when we're full. If you are unable to make the event after booking please cancel the ticket so it can be released for someone else as these sessions have proved very popular. Thank you! Please note we are asking people to remove shoes for hygiene and safety so please wear socks or bring slippers. Adults...please please please....no talking during singing time. It's very distracting for the children and noise levels keep going up. Please model listening to the grownup leading the songs. We try to talk through songs before singing so new parents/carers can join in too. We want it to be as inclusive as possible, so please help the group to run smoothly by keeping singing time quiet and free from adult chat. Thank you Please be aware of allergies and avoid any snacks that have allergens in them. We would kindly ask that any snacks are eaten away from the toys. A small snack for your child will be provided.
