🎄 Christmas Tealight Houses at The Old Fire Station, Topsham

Come and spend a cosy November evening at The Old Fire Station, making your very own ceramic Christmas tealight house.

Using simple handbuilding techniques, you’ll create a little clay house completely from scratch — adding windows, doors, rooftops and all the tiny details that make it yours. Keep things simple and rustic, or go full festive!

Once finished and fired, pop a tealight inside and watch the light glow through the little windows — something you can bring out year after year as part of your Christmas decorations.

No pottery experience is needed. I’ll guide you through the whole process step-by-step, with plenty of help along the way.

Grab a drink from the bar, settle in with some clay and enjoy a relaxed evening of Christmas making. Come with friends, make it a festive date night, or come along on your own — everyone is very welcome.

A 2-hour guided pottery workshop

All clay, materials and equipment

Your finished tealight house glazed and fired for you

Plenty of help and guidance throughout

After the workshop, I’ll take your house back to the studio to dry, glaze and fire, ready for collection once it's finished.
