Republica will celebrate 30 years since *Ready To Go!* with a concert at Exeter Phoenix on 13 November 2026. The band gained prominence in the 1990s under the leadership of Saffron.
Republica dominated the charts in the Nineties with the band’s iconic and fiery front woman, Saffron. With their self-dubbed ‘techno-pop, punk rock’ sound. Republica led Britpop wave of female-fronted rock bands including Sleeper, Elastica, Garbage and Lush.
Selling an incredible three million albums and clinching Top Five slots in the UK, America, South America and Europe, their breakthrough single, ‘Ready to Go’, soared to Number One around the globe.
