Our bright and colourful new play hub is ready for big imaginations, energetic explorers and families looking for a place to unwind and have fun together.

However you love to play, there's plenty of room here for you to make it your own.

Come back throughout the summer as we roll out a changing programme of daily activities, perfect for repeat visits and long, lazy days outdoors:

Monday - Nature Walk, 11:00 & 12:00

Explore the gardens with a Ranger and discover wildlife along the way.

Tuesday - Story time, 11:00 & 14:00

Enjoy story time with international storyteller and children's author, Clive Pig.

Wednesday - Pokémon Club, drop in anytime

Join Bridge Troll Hobbies for Pokémon fun. Learn to play, battle and trade.

Thursday - Printmaking, 13:00 to 15:00

Create a Burgess inspired print with Double Elephant print workshop.

Friday - Create & Craft, drop in anytime

Hands-on creative fun for all ages.

And because this is England, you'll also find handy shelters dotted around the play hub, giving you a cosy spot to duck into should the weather turn.
