DJ HI-C Osaka, Japan | Aum Recordings 5 X DMC World Champion Based in Osaka, DJ HI-C has built a remarkable career in the world of turntablism, and in recent years has emerged as a distinctive and influential presence within techno.

In his extended DJ sets, DJ HI-C takes as a foundation the boundary between ambient and psychedelic techno - styles whose development has been closely intertwined with Japan’s outdoor music scene.

Early in his career, DJ HI-C was one half of the turntablist unit Kireek, achieving the unprecedented feat of winning the DMC World Championship five consecutive times. In 2022, he launched the cutting-edge Osaka-based techno label Aum Recordings, establishing himself further as a producer.
