Marilyn Monroe was born 100 years ago this year. To mark our special exhibition on her life, career, and influence, we welcome Professor Lucy Bolton who will talk about why Marilyn still matters so much to our culture.

Lucy is Professor of Film Philosophy at Queen Mary University of London and has published extensively on stardom and feminist approaches to film. She has been advisor on exhibitions on Marilyn Monroe at the National Portrait Gallery and film seasons at the British Film Institute, and provided the introduction to the new book Encounters with Marilyn Monroe published by Aurora Metro.
