This October we're delighted to be taking Dinners With Friends to the beautiful Winslade Manor Restaurant & Bar, an elegant country manor set within 86 acres of parkland at Clyst St Mary, just a few minutes from Exeter. This Grade II* listed manor has been beautifully restored, blending historic character with contemporary style to create one of Devon's most impressive dining destinations.

We'll gather for a relaxed Sunday lunch in stylish surroundings, where the kitchen is passionate about showcasing the very best seasonal Devon produce, sourced from local farmers, growers and suppliers wherever possible. Sunday lunch at Winslade has become something of a local favourite, making it the perfect setting for an afternoon of great food and even better company.

As always, Dinners With Friends isn't about coming with people you already know. It's about meeting new ones.

Whether you're new to the area, your social circle has changed, or you simply enjoy good conversation with interesting people, you'll receive a warm welcome. There are no awkward ice-breakers, no networking, and no dating agenda. Just twelve friendly people sharing a leisurely Sunday lunch, plenty of conversation and, very often, the beginning of lasting friendships.

Although it's the food brings guests of age, some are business owners, some are retired, others are working professionals. Ages vary, backgrounds differ, but everyone has a story worth sharing.

Most who join us are open, curious, and friendly - often well educated, sometimes well travelled, single or partnered. They come not just for the meal, but for the laughter, the conversations, and the chance to meet someone new.

You might leave with a new friend, a future travel companion, or simply the warmth of having shared time with good company.

The seat price does not include any food and drink you order.

Dinners With Friends Refund Policy

Refunds will only be issued:

If the event is cancelled (or not fully performed) or postponed to more than 90 days after the original date.

If the event description presented to the consumer at the time of purchase is significantly different from the actual event.

If access cannot be granted to the Consumer due to capacity, safety issues, or venue issues. In circumstances where the consumer has special access or dietary needs (e.g. ramp, lift, hoist etc.), it is up to the consumer to check suitability with the venue before booking.

Ticket transfers to a new date are limited to a maximum of two occasions in each 6 month period, and must be used or are forfeited within six months of the original booking date. Tickets may be passed on to another guests who will attend instead of you.
