Discover the wild food & medicine of an Argyll autumn, with additions to your campfire meal or for use in keeping well.

Vicky of The Little Foragers Kitchen will be taking us on a wild sensory safari, discovering through taste, touch, sight and smell. You’ll be surprised at what can be found in the hedgerows! We hope that with the knowledge from this session, you'll be inspired and feel able to utilise the plants around us for future outdoor adventures.

During the session you will learn:

How to forage for wild food, medicine and wild crafting materials safely and sustainably

Foraging and the law

About how to identify a wide variety of wild plants

About how to make wild teas, infusions and tinctures

How to connect with the Earth on a deeper, more meaningful level

We'll be meeting at Atlantis Leisure and going for a walk from there, so please ensure you have appropriate footwear, and clothing suitable to the weather.

Spaces are available by donation, as we would like to reduce as many barriers as we can to enable entry to outdoor actitivies. If you are able, the suggested donation to cover the full cost of a space on this course is £15, however, please pay as much or as little as you can do so.
