Join us for the next Design Mingle: Creative Connections event featuring our Landing Studio cohort of start-up's

Our October Design Mingle is taking us inside the Landing Studio at CREW, bringing together the businesses involved in the programme to share their experiences, projects and learnings so far.

The Landing Studio is a pilot initiative from the Western Development Commission (WDC) supporting creative enterprises and innovation-led businesses across the West and Northwest of Ireland.

Based at CREW in Galway, the Studio provides participating businesses with dedicated workspace, specialist support and a collaborative environment to experiment with emerging technologies, explore new creative and commercial possibilities, and develop new products and services.

AIM – the AI and Innovation Centre in Sligo – is the anchor tenant of the Landing Studio, bringing specialist expertise in artificial intelligence, design-led innovation and emerging technologies to the programme.

About this Design Mingle

For this month’s event, we’ll hear directly from the businesses taking part in the Landing Studio as they share their experiences throughout the programme.

The conversation will explore:

Where businesses were at the beginning of their journey

Projects and ideas they have been developing

Experiences and challenges along the way

Key learnings and insights from the programme

What they’re planning to explore next

The format will be informal and conversational, giving attendees an opportunity to hear about the work happening within the Landing Studio and connect with others across Galway’s creative and innovation community.

Who is this event for?

Design Mingle is open to creative professionals, entrepreneurs, SMEs, designers, innovators, students and anyone interested in creativity, technology and new ideas.

Whether you’re part of Galway’s creative community, curious about the Landing Studio, or simply interested in hearing what other businesses are working on, we’d love to have you join us.
