Spoken Word - Poetry - Performance - Music

The Oilslick Open Mic is a night of live creative expression, bringing together Galway’s poets, musicians, spoken-word artists and performers for an evening of connection, creativity and community.

Presented as part of the Stillness & Spark Café Lates programme at 56 Central, this open mic invites both established and emerging artists to take the stage and share their work in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

Expect an eclectic evening of spoken word, poetry, music, dance and live performance, with plenty of space to discover new voices, support local artists and enjoy a night of creativity, whether you’re performing or simply coming along to listen.

Doors open at 6:30pm, with performances kicking off at 6.45pm.
