Join me for a 2 hours guided watercolour workshop designed for complete beginners, set in a calm environment.

This session focuses on building a foundation in watercolour, combining essential techniques with a relaxed, supportive atmosphere that allows you to explore the medium with confidence.

You’ll learn how to control water and pigment, understand colour mixing, and develop your brushwork through practical exercises before working towards a finished painting.

In a small group, you’ll be guided step-by-step through each stage of the process, with time to practise, experiment, and refine your work. No prior experience is required, just a curiosity to learn and create.

Hi, I’m Karen Bertinelli, an illustrator and concept artist based in Galway. I hold a BA in Painting and Visual Arts from the New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, along with a certification in 2D & 3D Digital Animation Production from DKIT.
