Making Your Own Miniature Doll House Room Box

Step into a world of tiny treasures and woodland charm in this 5-week miniature-making course at House of Toad, Glasgow with miniature maker, Lara Messer.

Over five relaxing and creative sessions, you'll learn how to build your very own autumn-themed miniature mouse house room box completely from scratch. Whether you're new to miniatures or already enjoy crafting, this course will guide you through every stage of the process, from constructing the room box to creating beautiful seasonal details and decorating your cosy mouse-sized home.

All materials are included, so you can simply come along, get creative, and enjoy learning new skills in a friendly and welcoming environment. By the end of the course, you'll have a unique handcrafted miniature to proudly display or treasure for years to come.

Join us as we celebrate the rich colours, textures, and cosy atmosphere of autumn, one tiny detail at a time. We can't wait to create with you!

6-9pm each wednesday

Tea, coffee (or BYOB) and cake provided for a 30 minute break.

Adults only. This course is not for children.

Please note: We will be using sharp tools such as a craft knife and cutting shears.

Building an Autumn themed miniature mouse house room box

Week one (Sept 9th) - Build our foundations: wallpapering, painting and decorating

Week two (Sept 16th) - Flooring and making our tree branches

Week three (Sept 23rd) - Making and decorating furniture

Week four (Sept 30th) - Polymer clay food

Week five (Oct 7th) - Finishing touches/ staging the scene / making miniature books
