We are open early for visitors who prefer a calmer, less crowded environment. During an early opening we reduce noise levels, flashing lights and crowds as much as possible. We will open to the general public at 11am as usual. Sensory bags which include ear defenders are available for visitors to use during their time in the museum. These can be collected from the lower ground reception. There will be a Quiet Safe Space in the North Room. Please ask a member of staff for directions. We have created visual storyboards , which help you see around our museum before your visit. The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum Visual Storyboard can be found here. The AccessAble guide can be found here: Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum | AccessAble Please note – there are currently building works happening outside the museum. There is scaffolding surrounding the front entrance and parking is restricted.
