Join Glasgow Jitterbugs any Thursday night for their Drop In Beginner Friendly Swing Dance Classes. Come along any Thursday and learn some vintage partnered dancing! No partner needed and no pre-booking needed, as classes are run as drop in sessions. At 7.00pm the teachers will walk you through the basic footwork pattern and how to partner up, so if your new please look to arrive at 7.00 as you will need the basic footwork for the rest of the class. Schedule 7.00-8.00pm: Drop In Lindy Hop - All Levels, Suitable for Beginners 8.00-8:30pm: Optional Practice Time & Social Dancing - All Levels 8:30-9:30pm: Soul Lindy* (17 Sept - 15 Oct), Collegiate Shag* (29 Oct-26 Nov) Please note on the 22nd October we will have our Mid Term Party - which is also a drop in, will consist of an all level class, cakes, music and dancing. What to Bring: • Bring your own water bottle, there is a sink you can fill up during class • Bring friends or come by yourself - you do not need a partner as we have partner rotation in our classes What to Wear: • Wear comfortable clothing that's easy to move in. • Wear shoes that are flat, comfortable and supportive, without too much grip, we do not recommend heels. How to Get to Class: • Subway: Cowcaddens subway stop is less than a 5 minute walk from the venue • Driving: All parking south of Rose Street should be free after 6pm. Please take care parking immediately around the venue as most of that is permit holders only or restricted until 10pm
