BookshopLATE: John Tuomey in Conversation with Rab Bennetts

Join us in Glasgow on the eve of RIAS Live 2026 for a special evening with acclaimed Irish architect John Tuomey, in conversation with Rab Bennetts OBE.

Co-founder of O’Donnell + Tuomey and recipient of the RIBA Royal Gold Medal, John Tuomey has spent more than four decades exploring the relationship between architecture, craft, culture and place.

The conversation will focus on his new book, Middle Quarter – a compelling blend of memoir, architectural reflection and design insight. John reflects on the experiences, relationships and ideas that have shaped his practice, including celebrated projects such as the Glucksman Gallery in Cork and the Lyric Theatre in Belfast.

Rab Bennetts, co-founder of Bennetts Associates and a leading voice in sustainable architecture, will lead the conversation.
