Join us for an autumn still life themed collage workshop on Wednesday 11 November at 18.30 at The Alchemy Experiment.

We’ll be settling into autumn with a relaxing autumn still life themed collage workshop on November 11th at The Alchemy Experiment! During this 2 hours workshop you will be invited to create your own sheets of textures and patterns using wax crayons, which you will use to create your own autumn still life alongside with colourful paper stocks. All materials will be provided, you will learn collage and compositions techniques , and you will leave with your new collages.

Who is this for?

This event is for anyone ages 16+ interested in exploring collage and art in a relaxing and welcoming environment. This workshop is suitable for all levels, no previous experience and skills are necessary. Please note under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

What is the After Hours Creative Club?

Monthly workshops hosted by Concrete Nature on Wednesday evenings and Sundays Between Glasgow and Edinburgh to nurture your creativity off-screen and connect with fellow creatives.

Materials

All materials will be provided, however we recommend you bring a tote bag or shopping bag big enough to fit A4 size artworks to keep your artwork safe when you leave the workshop and make your way home.

Location & Nearest subway station

The Alchemy Experiment is an inclusive art venue located on Byres Road, and the nearest subway station is Hillhead. There is on street parking around the venue.

About the venue

The upper exhibition space where the workshop will be taking place is wheelchair accessible from ground level on Byres Road. Please note the toilets are not wheelchair accessible, they are located downstairs and only accessible via a flight of stairs. Cancellation policy

Tickets will only be refundable up to 7 days prior to the event taking place. Tickets are non-exchangeable. Please note Eventbrite’s fees are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend the event after the deadline for refund, please let us know via email us at hello@concretenature.studio so your ticket can be re-allocated to someone on our waiting list.
