Craft your own placemat or decorative wall-hanging at this jesmonite workshop in Glasgow.

In this 2.5-hour workshop in Glasgow you will learn the fun process of crafting your very own placemat or decorative wall-hanging using Jesmonite AC100 - a safe and eco friendly casting material.

This hands-on activity is specially designed for beginners, so no prior experience with Jesmonite is required. I will show you how to mix and cast Jesmonite AC100 using silicone moulds.

You will learn how to add pigment to create your desired colours and designs for your placemat or wall-hanging. I’ll also provide guidance for how to finish your pieces so they look good and are ready to use!

All the necessary materials and equipment for the workshop will be provided and you'll be given a kit to seal your creations at home. If you choose to make a wall-hanging, you will be given hardware and instructions for hanging your piece at home.

By the end of the session, you will not only have gained new skills but also have a lovely new placemat or decorative wall-hanging to showcase in your home.
