Does your child struggle with big feelings, emotional outbursts, worries, anxiety, frustration, or difficulty calming down? This workshop is designed to help parents and carers better understand emotional regulation and learn practical ways to support their child.

Delivered by Tamara and Elaine from Southside Child Psychology, this 90-minute workshop draws on evidence-based psychological approaches to explore why emotional regulation can be challenging for some children and young people, and what parents can do to help.

The workshop will provide practical tools and strategies that can be used at home to support children in understanding, managing, and expressing their emotions.

The workshop is aimed at parents and carers of children aged 8-16 years, although many of the strategies discussed may also be helpful for younger or older children.
