We are delighted to bring Lanarkshire lads Gerard (formerly of Teenage Fanclub/The Pastels) and Mark (Boyfriend) to The Rowantree Inn for a VERY special night of incredible music ... all on vinyl and played on Technics decks.

Gerard Love

Outside of playing guitar, bass and songwriting, Gerard has been buying records for over forty years. Drawing on a vast and eclectic personal vinyl collection, he occasionally DJ's at venues across Glasgow, spinning rare cuts, soul, and vintage alternative tracks.

Mark McAvoy

Formerly of Boyfriend, signed to Creation Records, Mark is a huge fan of northern soul (one of the legendary Goodfoot DJ collective) and loves to dig into his collection to get heads nodding, toes tapping and people dancing. Friends with Gerard for decades, the two are set to bounce off each other and enjoy bringing their musical taste and bit of their record collection to Uddingston Vinyl Lovers Club.
