A Hyrox-style doubles workout at F45 Glasgow West End with a partner we have matched to your level, then drinks at The Parlour next door.

Pulse and F45 Glasgow West End have teamed up for a Hyrox Doubles workout — then we're heading next door to The Parlour (28 Vinicombe Street, Glasgow G12 8BE (two minutes' walk)) for drinks.

You don't need a partner, and you don't need to have done Hyrox. Book on your own, fill in a short questionnaire, and we'll pair you with someone at a similar level. You split the work between you, so nobody's dragging anyone round.

It's a sweaty session, run by qualified Hyrox and F45 coaches. Then it's a proper social. The kind of Saturday that's worth it even if you don't meet anyone — though you probably will.

The plan -

1:15pm — Arrive at F45, check in, grab a NOCCO and meet your partner

1:30pm — A warm-up with the coaches

1:45pm — The workout: Hyrox Doubles. SkiErg, row, wall balls, burpees, lunges and farmers carry, with runs outside in between. You and your partner split the reps however suits you

2:45pm — Cool-down, electrolytes and protein snacks, and the winning pair takes the prize

3:00pm — Shower, change, and over to The Parlour. Your first drink's on us in our very own area

6:00pm — Official finish but he bar's open if you want to continue the evening further!

How the matching works After you book -

We'll email you a short questionnaire — your fitness level, Hyrox experience, age range and who you'd like to be partnered with. We use it to pair you with someone at a similar level and email you their name before the day.

Come alone. Most people do. That's the whole point. You turn up with a partner already sorted, and the coaches and the Pulse team are there from check-in to make the introductions.

Who it's for -

Active, sociable singles who'd rather meet someone mid-wall-ball than mid-swipe. You should be comfortable with a hard session — every station can be scaled, but this isn't a gentle stretch.

Tickets: £35 Capped at 60 people, with numbers kept balanced so everyone has a partner. This one won't hang around!
