About This Event

Female Funk Fruition 28 is scheduled for Sunday 20 September 2026 at Indepen-Dance in Glasgow. This monthly session offers a safe environment for females to dance and learn, with ticket prices available on the website.

A space for females* to dance and learn in a safe and relaxed environment. Funded by Creative Scotland's Open Fund.

The 28th of our monthly sessions which aims to provide a relaxed environment for females* to dance and learn various styles. Shelltoe Mel and Nadia Sewnauth will take you through the foundations of various styles including freestyle rocking, popping & locking.

*These female-only events are inclusive of Trans women, as well as non-binary people who are comfortable in a space that centres the experience of women.

Female Funk Fruition is funded by Creative Scotland's Open Fund.
