International Student new to Glasgow? Welcome!

Join us for a free welcome meal for all international students. Come meet local people, chat about life in Glasgow, and get tips for making the most of your time here. There will be meat and vegetarian options available. Please contact us if you have any other special diet or allergies.

The event is hosted by local volunteers from Dowanvale Free Church and is part of the International Welcome 2025, organised by Friends International Glasgow. It is a social event open to all international students in Glasgow. People of all faiths (and none) are welcome.

The International Welcome 2026 is organised by Friends International Glasgow with the aim to welcome international students from all over the world to Glasgow.
