From 2 September 2026, Guided Tours of The Mackintosh Tearooms will start in Glasgow. The tour will take place at 10:00 and participants will explore Glasgow's most iconic tearoom. Tickets cost between £8.53 and £40.30.
Step back in time as you explore Glasgow’s most iconic tearoom.
Come and visit Miss Cranston’s famous tearoom – the last surviving original tearoom designed by Glasgow’s own Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
Led by an expert guide, you’ll explore the many floors of the iconic Mackintosh Tearooms and discover the history of this remarkable building, while admiring its beautifully restored interiors. Your tour includes access to exclusive spaces such as the Billiard Room and the opulent Salon de Luxe.
Your ticket also includes entry to our exhibition, where you can immerse yourself in Glasgow at the turn of the 20th century – a period of great social change and creative innovation.
Please note that refreshments are not included in the tour. If you wish to experience the famous hospitality of the Tearooms, we recommend booking a table in advance.
Occasionally, some rooms may be unavailable due to private events or conservation work. We will always do our best to notify you in advance if your tour is affected.
