Led by musicians, fans and writers, this guided walking tour of Merchant City and the East End brings alive the tales of the area’s music – both past and present. Along with stories of the artists and audiences that helped shape Glasgow’s amazing cultural life, the two hour tour explores the myths and legends of our best loved concert venues. Walking the oldest streets of the city, our Merchant City Music Past and Present tour covers cherished venues such as the mighty Barrowland Ballroom and the venerable Britannia Panopticon – Britain’s oldest surviving music hall.
