If you have lived in Glasgow for a while, it is easy to fall into the habit of walking the same streets and visiting the same familiar spots. This event is an informal opportunity to break out of that routine and look at our city with fresh eyes. We will be spending the afternoon exploring some of the quieter corners and overlooked pockets of Glasgow that often go unnoticed during the daily hustle. This gathering is for anyone who enjoys the thrill of a small discovery, whether it is an interesting piece of local history, a tucked-away architectural detail, or simply a great view that most people pass by. We are a relaxed group of people who share a common interest in uncovering the stories behind our surroundings, and there is no pressure to be an expert on the city. It is just about getting outside, walking at a comfortable pace, and enjoying some good company while we see what we can find. If you have a free afternoon and fancy a bit of a wander, I would love to see you there. It should be a nice way to reconnect with the city and meet some like-minded locals. If you think you can make it, please let me know by RSVPing so I have a rough idea of numbers for the walk.
