Take a break from the festive shopping and soak up the Christmas atmosphere with a trip on the solar-powered Observation Wheel, offering spectacular views across the city. Enjoy a bite to eat and a merry wee drink in the festive bar, with free entertainment every day, or tuck into a traditional bratwurst fresh from the Swing Grill. Treat yourself or find the perfect present among a tempting selection of food and gift vendors, including personalised Christmas decorations and unique festive treats. Then round off your visit with a spin on one of the festive rides – the perfect way to add a little extra Christmas magic to a day out in Glasgow city centre. Glasgow Green Ice Rink: Selected dates and times from 20th of November to the 3rd of January. As part of the festive celebrations in Glasgow’s City Centre this year we are excited to welcome the spectacular outdoor Ice Rink complete with themed festive bar. The perfect family festive day out. Santa’s Grotto: Step into the magic this Christmas and experience the wonder of Santa’s Grotto at Glasgow’s Winter Wonderland on the Green. Families will be welcomed into our beautifully themed grotto, where every detail has been designed to bring festive joy to life. Children will meet Santa himself, capture a magical moment and enjoy an unforgettable Christmas experience in the heart of the city. With limited spaces available, make sure to book early to avoid disappointment. Walk-up tickets may be available on the day however this would be subject to availability and are charged at a higher ticket price.
